We, Everest Himalayan Handicraft Industry, always look and seek to empower under privileged women of the country; mostly living in rural areas by giving high employment opportunities that empowers their own lives, society and in their living community as a whole. Economic empowerment is the degree to which women is able to participate as an economic actor in her community. The ability to earn, save and spend money as per their own satisfaction which is the vital part for economic development through their individual household to their community.

Problems of the status of Nepalese women are accentuated by the fact that Nepal still falls under the least-developed countries of the world in which the majority of the population has to survive by low productivity and income. Thus our Company “Everest Himalayan Handicraft Industry” aim to uplift and empower women which ultimately helps in every possible expect of each household to support their own livelihood and let their children get good education. In this 21st century also there are a lot of families where child could not get education because of the lack of money and only one working parent in family makes the family difficult to live daily life.

In our country, it’s a big underlying problem of women in rural areas to get employment opportunities. If this problem solves, it will help to develop our society as well as country. So our employees are very happy to use handloom for producing fabrics, shawls and designer outfits of natural fibers (Nettle, Bamboo, Hemp, Cotton and Silk) through which they can use their own self learned skills to make such world touching natural fabric products. These handmade products of such which are already being used by vibrant citizens of various countries in the world make us so proud to keep doing what we are doing for ourselves, for our community and for our country; most of all it is this message of women empowerment through our work which we are sending to the whole world keeps us boosting ourselves to do more and enjoy our lives.
